For the past three years, my main interest has been "The Fisher King" starring Robin Williams, Jeff Bridges, Amanda Plummer, the fabulous Mercedes Rhuel...all the way down to Carl "Oldie" Olsen from Late Night with Conan O'Brien. The movie was directed by Terry Gilliam of Monty Python and "Brazil" fame, and written cleverly and prodigiously by Richard LaGravanese.

This was an amazing acting job my Mercedes Rhuel. She is by far one of the best actresses today. For some reason she always gets the mom-like role! Remember her from "Big"?

Jeff Bridges is a wonderful Jack. His transition in character is so drastic, and yet each character is wonderfully developed and believable. Jack is truly the catalyst for this play, making everything else in the play work. Jeff Bridges must have tapped into this in order to portray Jack so well.

Parry was played as only a master like Robin Williams could play him. He made this story fun. What he gives to this role is extraordinary.
